A letter from Fräulein Maria to the Reverend Mother
Dear Reverend Mother,
I've been pondering your advice. (Lovely singing voice, by the way - you should be in the movies!)
Given that rainbows never actually touch the ground, I'm afraid I'm
going to discard that part of your counsel. You'll be pleased to hear,
however, that I've booked myself onto a stream-fording course and will
be undertaking some basic mountaineering training.
Although I fear you will consider me lazy, honesty compels me to
confess that I really, really hope that my dream is located on a nearby,
relatively small mountain.
Thanks again for your words of wisdom.
Fräulein Maria
P.S. Be honest: do you think the Captain's too old for me? And should I
be disturbed by his fecundity? My hips aren't that big, Reverend
Mother.
